Carnival Birthday Party

M’s carnival themed 2nd birthday party was so much fun! I had to share the details with all of you.
We had a hot dog bar, fresh popped popcorn, pretzels, and cotton candy to eat. We also had cupcakes that looked like adorable little snow cones and popcorn bags. We also had cake pops that looked like little bags of popcorn. The drinks were served out of a little red wagon.
For the activities and games we had face painting, knock down the cans, duck pond, and ring toss. We even had a vintage horse “ride” for the little ones.

For favors, we had boxes of animal crackers and swirly pop suckers. The kids also earned tickets from playing the games and won prizes that we had them take home in extra popcorn bags.

We also had a photo booth area where the guests could pose with props such as hats, mustaches, lips, glasses, clown noses, etc. There was also a carnival themed prop to pop their heads into for another fun photo. The guests really had a good time with this!
I really loved all of the little details, such as the water bottle wraps and straw flags. It really put a personal touch on the event.
Finally, like last year, we did a collage in the shape of the age she is turning out of photos of her from the past year. I think we will do this every year and decorate her play room with them.
