Well, it’s spring break here in Provo, Utah, and we decided to kick off our “staycation” with The Living Planet Aquarium. I can’t believe we’ve never been to this gem. My kids had a blast and Mason is already talking about when we go back.
The highlights:
4D movie (the 4D part wasn’t working when we were there, but the kids loved it in 3D)
Shark tank – It’s an enormous shark aquarium where you can stand in a tunnel under the tank. So the sharks are swimming beside you and above you.
Penguins – At 4pm they let us watch as the penguins were fed. So fun to see them interact with humans.
Petting Zoo – haha ok I know it’s not a petting zoo, but there is an area where they let you touch the star fish and the sting rays. the kids thought that was pretty cool.
