This is the perfect book for hours and hours of quite time. There are tons and tons of stickers for the kids to stick on the different scene pages. This is also very educational for the kids. I like to have them draw their own scene to stick the stickers to and tell a story about the scene.
Mini Trampoline – How fun is this? It’s affordable and portable! It’s a great way for the kids to get their wiggles out.
Metal detector! Target has them for as low has $25 (read reviews – some are great some are junk). My boy cooper is using a neighbors’s one today at the park, and he is in heaven!
My kids got these industrial walkie talkies last year from their grandparents. They spend $50 per walkie talkie, and now they are on sale for $15.27 on amazon. These have a charging doc so you don’t have to worry about replacing batteries, they work so well (because they are industrial), and they reach over 2 miles away! My kid’s cousins have them and they can talk to each other from their homes (5 min drive away). Brand is: BAOFENG BF-888S UHF FM Transceiver High Illumination Flashlight Walkie Talkie Two-Way Radio.
Polaroid Camera – I am surprised by how cheap you can find these on ebay. What a perfect present for Christmas morning. With cell phones and digital cameras, I think pictures are often taken for granted and hidden away on a phone or a computer. A polaroid camera is such a vintage and fun way to capture memories that you can hold in your hand and put into a photo album.

Guinea Pig – We just got our fist guinea pig and they are the easiest and sweest pets. How fun would it be for the kids for find a little pet under the tree. I would say guinea pigs are a little kitten without the being as needy (they can spend most of their time in their cage), but when you pick them up they are so cuddly and cute. My kids watch their latch TV with the pig on laps. The only annoyance I have is the smell. Their cage should be cleaned at least once a week.
