Kindergarten Learning Activity

I recently attended a parent teacher conference for my cute kindergartner, Mason.  She said he was doing amazing with his reading, but no so great on his writing.  She needed us to practice more at home.  The things we were suppose to practice were proper capitalization (he was writing in all caps), finger spaces between words and a period at the end of the sentence.  I thought of a fun way to help Mason do this, and it turned out to be a success!

I have this awesome lego book that contains pages and pages of stickers.  Check out this lego movie sticker book.  It comes with over 1000 reusable stickers and it’s less than $8 on prime.
So, my idea was to have Mason pick a sticker, and draw a scene around the sticker.  Then make up a sentence about his picture.  Very simple, very fun, and hopefully he will start improving on his writing skills.
