Oh my heavens so many fun Christmas traditions that I have passed down to my kids that I did will growing up. A few of my favorites are each kid gets to pick out an ornament every year. Something that they like or are into from that year. That way when they move out the will have ornaments along with memories for their own tree. Christmas Eve is also full of traditions. Opening one present, Christmas jammies and making cookies for Santa, reading a Christmas book and all the kiddos sleeping in one room waiting for Santa to come.
Our favorite tradition is taking a small overnight trip the day before Christmas Eve. As pastors we are so very busy during the holiday season it's nice to have that precious, uninterrupted time as family.
