Styling for a Family Photo Shoot

The holidays are around the corner! It’s almost time for that family photo! When styling for family photos, we have one main piece of advice –  try not to be too “matchy matchy”. When I was growing up, everyone wore blue jeans and white shirts for family pics. Those are days of the past. Subtle coordination will really help to pull a look together, while giving each child their own individual style. At Taylor Joelle, we try to offer collections that highlight the same patterns and colors on different pieces for each child in a family.

Our new Black and Bright Collection (now available for pre-order at 35% off), offers many options for the girls in your family that are perfect for holiday photos!
But what about the boys? We put together a few looks for the boys in your family that would coordinate well with our new Black and Bright Collection
The first look is for the older brother. Start the look with a black and white striped shirt by PO.P.  Next add red vintage cord pants by Jcrew. Finish the look with black Toms

The second look is for your toddler boy. Start the look with a green polo shirt from Belk. Next add black and white short pants by Lil Dimples. Finish the look with black Tiny Toms
We’d love to see your family photos featuring our new Black and Bright collection! Please send them to brooke@taylorjoelleblog.com, and we just may feature them on our blog, facebook page, or instagram!
